My First Book!

I am pleased to post that I am writing my first book on the subject of spirituality. The title is not yet finalized, but I will post further details on my progress here as they become available.

… One sign from the universe appeared late at night as we walked and talked. Suddenly during our conversation Michael stopped walking and looked up to the sky. Instead of verbalizing the many questions that were forming in my mind, I chose to stay quiet and follow his lead. As I stopped walking and looked up, a very large and brilliant meteor streaked across the night sky! I had never seen one that bright.

We both stood there in awe for some time, and when he finally looked in my direction, he had a smile on his face. As we continued walking, my logical mind was ready to explode with questions, and I asked them one after another, not even noticing that he wasn’t responding. Sometimes we need to look within for our answers. The meteor show was his answer. 

Michael was a unique, yet practical teacher who demonstrated a deep respect for his spiritual practice, and a genuine humility about it all. I was an eager student and felt I was developing a spiritual focus that I badly needed at that time in my life.

Through him I discovered that our universe was very much alive, and even better, interacted with its human inhabitants. Was this the spark I was looking for? Was this the magic that was missing in my life? I was beginning to open to new possibilities that I did not have explanations for yet, and it was energizing me.

This was how my spiritual journey began, and I definitely wanted to know more…

Energy Healing Sessions

Energy healing* is a gentle, non-invasive holistic treatment that works on the body, mind and spirit to promote positive change and restore balance. In this process, universal energy is channelled through a practitioner's hands to increase and balance the flow of energy in the body. This improves the body's ability to heal itself.
A healing session lasts about an hour. During this time, the client is fully clothed, and is commonly lying on a massage table. Hands are positioned lightly on the body or slightly above.
Effects of a healing session include a feeling of lightness and deep relaxation. Some experience a significant decrease or elimination of pain. For others, resolution of emotional issues and increased awareness occur.

Class Descriptions

Introduction to Energy Healing

This is a one day course for those who would like to learn about energy healing and create more balance in their lives. It is a combination of instruction and group exercises, with emphasis on self-healing techniques. Topics covered include: Our Energy Bodies, The Chakras, Being in Balance, What is a Healer?, How to Meditate, Healing Visualizations, Healing with Crystals, and discussion of different healing modalities. Upon completion, the student will know how to meditate, have skills to achieve better balance for personal growth, and may choose to explore further healing modalities. Manual and certificate are provided.


Spiritual Vortex Therapy

SVT Level 1-Basic is a one day course that teaches how to create balance in the energy field with energy vortices. Students will be instructed in the history and theory of this healing modality, then practise the hand movements needed to create a vortex. After the Level 1 attunement, each student will give and receive healing. Topics of instruction include: What is a Vortex, History of SVT, Grounding and Meditation, Colour and Meaning of the Chakras, The Process and the Symbols, and the Role of the Practitioner. Upon completion of Level 1, the student will understand the SVT theory and be able to do a healing session for others. After a minimum of 21 days, they may decide to further their learning with SVT 2 Advanced. Manual and certificate included.
SVT Level 2-Advanced begins with a brief review and practise of concepts from Level 1, then continues with a focus on chakras that exist beyond the physical body, clearing in between all chakras, self healing and distance healing. After the Level 2 attunement, each student will channel greater energy during skills practise. Upon completion of Level 2, the student is encouraged to continue healing on themselves and others. After a minimum of 21 days and documented practise on 10 different people, a student may decide to move on to the final SVT 3 Master/Instructor. Manual and certificate included. Prerequisite SVT Level 1.
SVT Level 3-Master/Instructor starts with review and practise of concepts from Levels 1 and 2. Students taking this one day course will learn how to teach Spiritual Vortex Therapy to others. The teaching format will focus on the history of this therapy, how to present the SVT technique to students, providing feedback during practise sessions, and learning the attunement process. Additionally, it will include how to set up a Spiritual Vortex Therapy class and provide support for students. After the Level 3 attunement, students will practise attunements on each other. There will be time at the end of the day for questions and answers. Upon completion of Level 3, a student will be able to give treatments, set up and offer classes to teach SVT, and perform the attunements for SVT. Manual and certificate and ongoing teaching support included. Prerequisite SVT Level 2.
